The 8th and 9th steps of Alcoholics Anonymous dictate that we make a list of all people we have harmed and make amends to them whenever possible. Jews have practiced teshuva and seeking forgiveness as a part of Yom Kippur for at least 1800 years. We will dive into the texts, both ancient and modern, and decide how righting our wrongs has evolved over the millennia.
This is an in person text study at Congregation Or Hadash on Yom Kippur afternoon following services. All participants who are not members at COH must register ahead of time and provide proof of vaccination, which can be emailed to [email protected]
