About this Event
The Ultimate Heart Tribute Band
Created in late 2003, DOG ‘N’ BUTTERFLY is a 5 piece band of accomplished musicians dedicated to bringing their talent and love of Heart’s memorable music of the 70’s and 80’s to the stage with unequaled accuracy and musical skill. Complete with stage show & retro- inspired costumes, Dog ‘N’ Butterfly takes the concept of “Tribute” to a whole new level! Fronting the band is vocalist Lizann Warner whose portrayal of Ann Wilson is both eerie and unparalleled. Her uncanny Ann-like voice has not only earned her praise from the actual members of Heart, but also landed her several tracks on video games including the popular Activision game: Guitar Hero III, singing Heart’s hit “Barracuda”, as well as “Magic Man” on Konami’s Game: Rock Revolution. Lizann’s credits also include TV ad jingles like the current commercial for Sandals Resorts [“My Blue Heaven”], airing on all major networks including: CNN, FOX NEWS & CSNBC. Lizann is joined on stage by Desha (pronounced “De-shay”) Dunnahoe a music major from Cal State University of Long Beach who is not only a multi-instrumentalist who plays both electric and acoustic guitars fluently, but is also a gifted composer and orchestrator who teaches young music students for the city of Long Beach’s unified school district. Lizann and Desha are joined by a power-house line up of stellar musicians who create the look and sound so closely to the band HEART, that even Heart's founding members Ann & Nancy Wilson and Roger Fisher have praised them for their authenticity.
With Emerging Artist Christie Huff
"Christie Huff is a country singer-songwriter who blends heartfelt storytelling with a modern pop edge. Based in Los Angeles and Nashville, she traces her country roots back to her upbringing in Arizona, where her love for the genre first took hold. Frequent trips to Nashville to co-write with top country songwriters continue to strengthen her ties to the country music community, while her bicoastal lifestyle allows her to remain deeply active in both markets as she consistently releases new music.
Christie has built a strong reputation as both a recording artist and a dynamic live performer. She performs her original music acoustically and with her full band and has toured extensively across the United States and internationally. Her live résumé includes performances at iconic venues such as Hotel Café, The Mint, The Viper Room, the legendary Troubadour, Whiskey Jam, and the Bluebird Cafe, as well as major events like CMA Fest. She has also headlined sold-out shows in London and continues to tour multiple times a year, demonstrating a deep commitment to her craft.
With over 16 million Spotify streams, Christie has seen significant success in the streaming world. Her singles “Halfway Fell,” “Palm Reader,” and “Blow Off Steam” each surpassed one million streams and were featured on Spotify’s Hot Country playlist. Her breakout single “Urban Love” launched her streaming momentum after being featured on New Music Nashville for four consecutive weeks. Her song “Black and White” has accumulated over 3 million lifetime streams and, along with “Palm Reader,” was featured on Apple Music’s Soundcheck and Country Risers playlists. Christie’s music has also appeared on high-profile playlists including New Boots, Hot Country, and Wild Country, and she was selected as the cover artist for Spotify’s PopCo playlist in November 2020. Her latest EP, Finer Things, is out now and continuing to gain strong traction with fans.
Equally impressive is Christie’s live performance career. She has opened for many of the biggest names in country and pop music, including Keith Urban, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Billy Currington, Kip Moore, Old Dominion, Dustin Lynch, Scotty McCreery, Jon Pardi, Dylan Scott, Niko Moon, Hailey Whitters, Drew Baldridge, Bebe Rexha, and Neon Trees, among others. She has also appeared on The Ty Bentli Show, where she delivered a featured 10 Minute Tune segment.
In recent years, Christie has performed at festivals and venues across London, New York City, Pennsylvania, Seattle, Nashville, Colorado, and Arizona. Highlights include opening for Keith Urban, Eric Church, and Jake Owen at CountryFest in Wisconsin, and joining Drew Baldridge, Frank Ray, and John King at The Big Sting Country Music Festival in Arizona. Looking ahead, Christie’s 2026 tour is already confirmed, with shows scheduled in London, across the United States, and Norway, including the Vikedal Roots Music Festival.
Driven, road-tested, and passionate about connecting through music, Christie Huff continues to release new music and tour internationally, carving out her place as a rising force in modern country music."
