Power up your Saturday—Dog N Butterfly: The Heart Experience hits the Killer Yacht Club OverKill Room Oct 4th, with Living Loving Led opening at 8:15PM.

Formed in late 2003, DOG ‘N’ BUTTERFLY is a five-piece band of accomplished musicians devoted to recreating Heart’s iconic ’70s/’80s sound with stunning accuracy. The show pairs meticulous musicianship with a polished stage production—retro-inspired costumes, classic silhouettes, and the big harmonies and guitar textures that defined Heart’s records—elevating the idea of a “tribute” well beyond a cover set.

Fronted by Lizann Warner, whose uncanny Ann Wilson vocals have earned praise from Heart, the band recreates the look and sound with remarkable accuracy. Warner’s credits include Guitar Hero III (“Barracuda”), Rock Revolution (“Magic Man”), and national ads like Sandals Resorts’ “My Blue Heaven” (CNN, FOX, MSNBC). She’s joined by Desha “De-shay” Dunnahoe—a Cal State Long Beach music major, multi-instrumentalist, composer/orchestrator, and educator—plus a powerhouse rhythm section. Together with a powerhouse rhythm section, the group nails the look, feel, and arrangements so closely that Ann & Nancy Wilson from Heart offered this endorsement:

Opening for the Dog n Butterfly is Living Loving Led, fronted by powerhouse vocalist Natasha Neece, whose raw power and mystique brings a fresh and feminine spirit to Led Zeppelin’s legendary sound. With each performance, the band is catching fire as one of the most captivating and soul-stirring tributes in the live music scene.
