DOG EAT DOG: First Look

Pet Lovers Unite! As young pup Zaro awaits in the lobby of his first vet visit, Morty, an older dog who's seen a few things, shows him the ropes. This is a First Look production of Kyle Mazer's hilarious new play starring Kite Shepherd and Bob Greenberg.

Kyle Mazer is a playwright, poet, composer and producer, eager to keep bringing theater to Red Hook. He graduated from Yale University where he studied playwriting under Donald Margulies and was award the T. Whitney Blake Prize for excellence in English, Music and Community Building. His productions include “ORCA: A One-Whale Musical” (The Waterfront Museum) “STALLED” (Spark Theater Festival, Chance Theater), “The S.S. Cancelled” (Winner of New York Theater Festival), The Woman in Green (938Collective, Gene Frankel Theater), Cricket, Cricket (Dixon Place), The Ground on Which We Stand (Luna Stages) and RUSTY UTOPIA: A Variety Show Responding to Change (Andrew Logan Projects). He is the youngest member on the New York Theater Barn’s Board of Directors and deeply devoted to all critters.
