DJ Oatmeal
DJ Oatmeal is an international Ecstatic Dance producer, performance artist, and spoken-word poet. Based in Brooklyn - he founded The Sabbath Dance - a New York City dance community rooted in Jewish mysticism. His career recently took him to Asia where he spent six months sharing music across the continent. Before that, he worked alongside East Africans for two years helping rural communities share stories about hunger and climate change. As a performer he has shared work at Electric Forest in Michigan, poetry clubs in Paris, music festivals in Thailand, beachside raves in Goa, and beyond.
DOEQUO
DOEQUO (Domi) is a Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinarian who makes art that plants trees. Her sound baths, meditations, journals, and paintings are inspired by nature’s vibrancy and groundedness. She currently publishes Inner Space — a digital collection of guided meditations, sound baths, and journaling prompts that support the exploration of inner spaciousness for her patrons. Additionally, DOEQUO experiments with the intersection of sound, wellbeing, and the built environment. She produces and facilitates Ambient Atrium — a series of live sound installations at CUNY’s School of Architecture in NYC, to help students regulate stress and deepen a sense of peace during the school day. Equally dedicated to visual and tactile arts, DOEQUO designs a line of kaleidoscopic journals for both new and experienced journalers alike. Every journal sold, Inner Space Patreon subscribed, and painting delivered is used to fund tree planting in ecosystems most in need of restoration. Over 2,000 trees have been planted so far.
