Compassion RN Trainer Classes are Tailored with the Consumer and Provider in mind.

Training sites are published on AllEvents or will come to your facility.

Convenient to Medina Summit North Canton and Southwest Cuyahoga Counties

The Classes using the DODD curriculum is personalized to work with the participant from the perspective of their knowledge base work role life and DD experiences .

Teaching methods designed for participants with Test Anxiety or who have had MANY years since last time in the class room setting or who are NEW to Health Care and Medications.

Cat.3 IMITIAL class meets 4 CEUs annually required to renew certification. Course is INITIAL training on Insulin Administration Diabetes care medications recognizing emergencies and emergency procedures

Hands on skills insulin injection. Glucagon injection. Standard Precautions medication storage.

MUST have current CAT 1 certification to attend this training.

Must pass CAT 3 exam by 80% or better.

Complete Medication Administration Application on Ohio DODD website prior to class

TRAINING CLASS EXPECTATIONS

>Attentiveness

> Active participation 

>Full Attendance at ALL class sessions is required. 

>4 hours minimum in class time

> Successful demonstration with verbal understanding of the Skills required
