Come for a viewing of scenes from the documentary “Arthur Byas, Rewriting the Narrative" about a Milwaukee man’s experience within the criminal justice system. Learn about the process of creating the film from the director Lajwanti P. Waghray and co-producer Conor McIntyre. Join in a discussion about incarceration in Wisconsin, family impact on incarcerated individuals, and more. This event is free and open to all.
The event will take place in the Arts and Communications Center room S149. From 4-5 pm you are invited to view the exhibition “Art Against the Odds: Wisconsin Prison Art” in the Allen Priebe Gallery.
