The book is published by Docomomo and is available for purchase at Native Books Hawaii. Breeze Blocks were commonly used in Hawaii to allow trade winds to flow while providing privacy. This ubiquitous building block of Hawaii can be seen from simple residential to high end commercial projects, and everywhere in between. Come learn about what makes them such a regular part of our built environment.
