Fat Belly from Hannover, Germany return in 2025 with a new album and a sound rooted in the 2000s — yet more relevant than ever.
Melodic Punk Rock fueled by experience, humor, and heart: ”Stories in Stereo”, the band’s third studio album since 2012, and it is the product of 13 years filled with real life, not downtime.
A lot happened along the way: first jobs, kids, lineup changes, a global pandemic, and the honest realization that some things simply need time to grow. And that’s exactly what these new songs capture.
”Stories in Stereo” is an album about friendship and loss, change and growing older, drifting apart and finding your way back. Tracks like ”Pandemic”, ”Lost & Forgotten” or ”John & Paul” blend big melodies and layered harmonies with lyrics that are
earnest, sometimes bittersweet, but always genuine.
Despite all the seriousness, Fat Belly never lose their sense of humor. In 2025, the band sounds more mature, louder, and just as hungry as ever.
You can feel it most when they hit the stage: every show feels like a reunion, a release, and a bit of group therapy in 4/4 time.
”Stories in Stereo” is the album Fat Belly always wanted to make. It just took a little longer this time — and every note proves it was worth the wait.

The Love Rockets from Berlin, Germany are firing off pure, unadulterated Rock‘n’Roll like it’s puree kerosene. Propelled by steep melodies, red-hot riffs and a full tank of attitude into an atmosphere with no space for melancholy Pop or artsy showboating, they’re not afraid to escape the same ol’ 3-chord Punk orbit either.
After launching a debut EP in 2022 and a lot of touring love with Aktiv Dödshjelp, LÜT and Terry Hoax, the four Berliners are currently wrapping up a studio mission for their first full-length album, ready for lift-off in 2026. But before, they’re setting off on a bold voyage to Norway to explore some strange new stage atmosphere.
