YOU ARE INVITED to an important presentation on the dire effects of gerrymandering in our state. Learn from the Fair Maps Coalition and former State Rep. Penny Bernard Schaber how plans for an Independent Redistricting Commission could end the practice for good. Gerrymandering (the drawing of state and federal voting districts by the party in power for their express partisan benefit) has done so much damage to our state and country.
Join us to find out just how the IRC would work to take partisan redistricting out of the hands of politicians and put them into the hands of a non-partisan body, and how you can voice your support for an IRC to your legislators.
