• Arthur, a writer with terminal cardiac conditions meets the new patient on the other side of the wall: Cassie, an illustrator with neurological conditions. Cared for by their doctor and their nurse, they settle in a routine where they keep each other’s company from the comfort of their care home beds they’ll never leave.
• Their friendship grows and as they meet each other’s loved ones, namely Arthur’s sister, Helena, and Cassie’s boyfriend, Chris, they find themselves believing that whatever life they have left is still worth fighting for and enjoying.
