Join City of Carrollton Parks and Recreation to dissect an owl pellet!Things like bones, fur, teeth, and feathers cannot be digested by owls. These indigestible bits are compressed into a pellet, which is regurgitated by the owl. We can learn a lot about owls by dissecting their pellets.
Owl pellets have been heat-treated and are completely sterile.
Ages: 5-12
Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 15 minutes before the program.
