Do It Yourself: Upcycle with embroidery and visible mending

Get live demonstrations and instruction. Learn how to upcycle your clothing with embroidery embellishments and Sashiko, a form of visible repair developed in Japan that is practical and decorative. Bring a piece of clothing to work on or use sample supplies provided (while they last) to begin learning these techniques. Demonstration, instruction, and sample supplies are free. Donations are accepted to make our historic building wheelchair accessible. Arrive at 11:30 and bring food to share if you want to join our potluck meal.
