DNMA Lunch & Learn with Adam Slade
Building a Career at the Intersection of Government & Social Impact
Join the DePaul Nonprofit Association for a conversation exploring how careers in government and the nonprofit sector can intersect to drive meaningful social impact. This session will highlight the role of public policy, budgeting, and advocacy in shaping more equitable communities.
Drawing from experience across public service and nonprofit leadership, this discussion will touch on advancing racial equity, improving systems, and ensuring community voices are reflected in decision-making. Attendees will gain insight into how change happens within institutions and what it takes to be part of that work.
Perfect for students interested in public service, policy, and nonprofit leadership, this Lunch & Learn offers a chance to engage with real-world perspectives and reflect on your own career path.
