On Thursday, February 13, the Association of Haitian Professionals - AHP is hosting DMV Community Valentine's Movie Night, featuring: The Unexpected Love, a Screenplay by Aly and Obianuju Laveaux, and directed by Abdias Laguerre in Silver II theatre.

Despite disapproval from loved ones, Ada and Jean’s relationship survives the twists and turns of college. But with graduation right around the corner, a difficult decision must be made.

Synopsis:

Blending the cultural differences between HAITIAN and NIGERIAN TRADITIONS, “Unexpected Love” captures the AMERICAN COLLEGE experience through the lens of INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Ada, Jean, Marie, and Nnamdi. Experience the whirlwind journey of friendship and the blossoming of young love in this heartwarming, music-filled, ROMANTIC COMEDY.
