DJ Workshop
About this Event
This workshop is part of Divergent Emergent’s creative workshop programme and is designed especially with neurodivergent people in mind, while being open to friends, supporters and anyone who wants to join in.
You do not need any DJ experience and you do not need to know anything about the equipment beforehand.
The session is about trying things out, having fun and learning by doing.
You’ll have the chance to explore things like:
* choosing and mixing tracks
* using DJ equipment
* experimenting with rhythm, transitions and sound
* finding music that works for you
* having a go without pressure to “get it right”
You can take part at your own pace. There is no expectation to perform, speak in front of the group or already feel confident.
Whether you have always wanted to try DJing, love music, want to learn a new creative skill or simply fancy doing something different, you are very welcome.
Who is it for?
Neurodivergent adults, friends, supporters and other people who would enjoy an inclusive creative workshop.
No experience needed
Beginners are absolutely welcome.
