Artist Bio:Lindsay Hester aka DJ LoO HoO started her DJ journey in the Salt Lake City underground scene and Ecstatic Dance in the Summer of 2020. As an EDM Open Format DJ, she has the ability to mix a wide variety of genres, but her favorite are Funk Bass/Glitch-Hop, Electro Funk House, Tribal Trap, Experimental Bass, Midtempo, Downtempo, and Melodic Deep House. In her Ecstatic sets, she loves taking dancers through a journey that releases emotions and heals through movement.
Since her start in 2020, LoO HoO has played at The Krishna Temple, The Clubhouse, SKY, Urban Lounge, Boomerang's, Shades Brewing, Why Kiki, The Exchange, Jaguar Occult silent discos, many private parties, high school dances, and even a few weddings. She has opened for big name artists such as Jessica Audifred, Manic Focus, Sultan + Shepard, ill.Gates, and Defunk. She has also performed at several local festivals including Electric Pow Wow, Hidden Oasis, Revival, Evolution, Omunitymoons, Camp KnowName, Paradigm, Incandescence, ILLUMINATE, and the SLC WHITE PARTY.
Lindsay founded LoO HoO Productions in 2021 and is the promoter of L.O.T.U.S. "Ladies of the Underground Series" empowering female DJs, flow artists, dancers, painters, and vendors in the local scene. She is also the Co-Founder of "Kidz Kreation Day" inspiring parents and children to cultivate their talents and healing through connection in the alternative arts.

Community Guidelines:
- Move however you wish, while respecting the space of those around you
- No talking on the dance floor, there is plenty of space in the temple for conversation
- We ask that you refrain from use of cell phones, photos, video, & strong scents during the dance
- Ecstatic Dance is a Drug & Alcohol Free Space
- Our dance is built on consent. It's important to get a non-verbal invitation to dance with a partner, and we ask that you maintain that level of respect during and after the dance ends.
