The Shreveport Regional Arts Council and the KAT Tower Residency program proudly announces the addition of DJ FAZE, an innovative Shreveport DJ whose eclectic style and dedication to the craft have garnered a dedicated following. With a rich background and an ever-evolving career, DJ FAZE is set to bring a fresh and exhilarating energy to the KAT Tower stageIn her Artist Talk, DJ FAZE will delve into her journey, beginning in 2013 and spanning to the present day. She will share her experiences with Dancefestopia and the Yellow Brick Road Tour, offering insights into working with national festivals as an emerging artist. FAZE will discuss the challenges of organizing her own festival, Faze Fest '22, and the obstacles she's overcome, including burnout, lack of motivation, and the struggle to stay relevant in the industry.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ community, DJ FAZE will reflect on how her identity has shaped her journey, especially during Pride Month. She will also address her decision to be a sober DJ, the philosophy behind her Open Format style, and what it truly means to be an Open Format DJ. Attendees will get a glimpse of what's next for this rising star.
FAZE will also have an artist workshop Saturday, June 29 @ 10am at Central ARTSTATION.
