Andy plays underground soulful music for many of Copenhagen’s more discerning venues, dancefloors and radio stations. His sets include ancient-to-future sounds from around the world, taking in deep jazz, cosmic soul, outsider boogie and disco through to afro-Latin and tropical sounds and more upfront house and broken beat. Tying the genres together is a sense of rawness, spirituality and joy.
He has played at venues in London (Brilliant Corners) as well as in Spain, Italy and more. In 2023 and 2025, he played at the Jazz Re:Found festival in northern Italy.
Andy is strongly influenced by pirate radio and alternative club culture, and has hosted shows in Copenhagen on Radio Ballerup, Depot Radio and Sound by the Sound. His weekly Melting Pot show lasted over 7 years and built a strong community united by a love of music that otherwise might have fallen through the cracks. He currently hosts Music Mind from Jolene Bar for Radio Panini.
Before moving to Denmark in 2012, Andy held various residencies over a 17-year period in Turin, Italy and ran his own Black Gold nights there. He was raised on UK pirate radio, rare groove, acid house and dancefloor jazz. He tries to keep that spirit alive when playing.
