The 2024 50k will start and finish at the bikers pavilion. Race start time will be 7:00am. The course will utilize the same trails as last year. The course is ideal for first time 50K runners and for runners that like to bring their own aid. Total elevation gain should be around 3000 feet. I will post a map of the new course as soon as it is available.The cutoff will still be 9 hours as in previous years.
As with all HTC races, bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers/strollers, roller skates or inline skates, animals(including dogs), and personal music players are not allowed in the race.
TWO BIG THINGS HERE, please do not wear headphones during the race. The race runs on many single-track trails, and you will not be able to hear other runners if they need to get your attention or are just being friendly. Also, please leave you dogs at home, we cannot have dogs on course and/or around the racers, aid stations etc.
