As most of you probably know, one of our directors, Jules, was a founding member of Dizraeli and The Small Gods, touring for years with them. So this is a homecoming of sorts, and we can’t believe we’ve never actually hosted Diz before, given the long rich history of collaboration between us! He’s a wonderful human and a hugely talented frontman – can hold a stage with joy and humility. Rapper, producer, firestarter. Songwriter, multi instrumentalist, raconteur… Diz is a genre of his own. From his cult debut album Engurland / City Shanties (2009), which explored the common ground between hiphop and folk traditions, to the explosive LP Joy Machine (2024) with its visionary mixture of hiphop, post-punk and jazz, he has always forged his own way.
