This beginner workshop is a combination of our popular DIY classes that aim to teach DIY life skills by demystifying the drill and teaching you how to hang a shelf.
The drill is probably the most commonly owned and used power tool today, but while access to them has never been easier many people fall into common pitfalls when trying to use them effectively!
Participants will get hands on with the tools, and in small groups learn the versatility of the drill and how hang a shelf, building confidence and getting hands on experience while troubleshooting as they go with the guidance of woodwork tutor Elaine.
If you would like to bring your own drill to learn specifically how to use it, please feel free. If you don’t have your own drill, don’t worry - we have lots!
There will be a 1 hour lunchbreak in this workshop.
Materials are included in the cost of the workshop and no experience is necessary.
