DIY Terrariums: Building Tiny Worlds

Course Description

Create your very own plant terrarium with guidance and instruction from Fort Collins Nursery's Eri Matsumura! This hands-on course will cover the step-by-step process for planning and decorating your own terrarium. We will cover planting techniques, plant recommendations, care, and maintenance tips for these creations. The following materials will be provided:

• Glass Terrarium
• 2 X miniature plants
• Soil
• Charcoal
• Decorative Rock.

*Attendees will create their own terrariums. Be ready to get your hands dirty!

Eri Matsumura is a CSU alumni and an urban jungle enthusiast! She has been with Fort Collins Nursery for eight years. Eri has a vast collection of over 100 indoor houseplants and is a multidisciplinary artist with two fine art degrees. Eri believes that growing and caring for plants is also an art form, and loves to exercise that creativity with indoor gardening.
