Just in time for Halloween and Devils Night!
We will be crafting ritual masks out of cardboard. I’ll be demonstrating the basics on how to create the structure of the masks themselves and provide examples for everyone to get an idea of how they may want to customize their mask. These masks can be created into anything you’d like, but I will primarily be demonstrating how to design them specifically for Satanic ritual. Creating these masks to represent our carnal/bestial selves in some way, by incorporating demonic and animal-like features that you find yourself drawn to. Wearing masks for a ritual can be useful for covering your identity and emotions in order to create a level of mystery and secrecy. They can also be useful when you’re trying to develop a character that you want to channel for a ritual as well.
This a free event! No charge for The Satanic Grotto events. We will be providing most of the materials, but I suggest people bring the following just in case we don’t have enough:
- Cardboard scraps
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
- Scissors
This will be held at Nirvana Coffee Bar & Game Lounge, so there will be food and drinks for purchase there, alcohol 21+ of course. This is an adult only event, but teenagers 16 and over can attend with a parent present.
