DIY plant hanger

Yam happy is on a journey to build community and connection while exploring art. In this class Amy will get you started with a few basic knots. You’ll then be able to design and make your very own macrame plant hanger. Come hang! Sign up with a friend or meet new friends as we explore these techniques together.

For this project we use fine motor skills making knots. We recommended for ages 13+, adult must be signed up with child(ren) and each must sign up as a participant

Must have 4 participants sign up to make the class. We will let those who have signed up know 24 hours prior to the class starting, if the class does not make. Due to space and seats we max out at 10 participants.

The main goal of classes hosted by Yam Happy is finding some happy through art and human connection. Sure, there will no doubt be some frustrations and bumps in the process of whatever you are creating. Please slow down, give yourself the space to learn something new, and explore the process. We don’t want anyone to get discouraged if the project doesn’t get “completed”, we’re just happy you’re here. While a finished project may be completed during the class, we encourage participants to be present. We prioritize happy memories and human connection over a finished project any day. ✌️
