Hand-building: DIY Mug ClassWe invite you to participate in an exciting, interactive session where you'll not only craft your own pottery piece from scratch but also create a functional piece of art! Under the guidance of our talented fine arts instructor, Steffen Christos, you'll learn the essential techniques—from choosing the appropriate tools to molding your unique mug and adding your personal touch.
What to Expect:
Learn the basics of pottery making.
Focus on the slab method, utilizing rolling pins and our slab press for easier creation.
Experience the joy of getting messy and having fun!
Discover new ways to express yourself through clay.
This is not just about making pottery; it's about creating a functional piece of art that you can take home and use. Join us for a memorable experience that combines creativity with craftsmanship!
Once your piece has completed its initial bisque firing, we will inform you. You can then come back to glaze your mugs. After they are fired again, they will be food safe and ready to take home. The entire process, from start to finish, can take between 3 to 4 weeks.
For ages 10+ (Participants ages 12 and younger must have a parent signed up with them. No Drop Offs or Sit Ins)
