DIY BeeswaxWraps

Amy Gable of Yam Happy will show you how to make your own beeswax wraps.

All fabric and supplies are provided. Each participant will have a chance to make 3 custom beeswax wraps.

This activity is recommended only for those 10 years and older. Participants with hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills is highly recommended. (For example able to cut fabric with with scissors). Adult must be signed up with child(ren) and each must sign up as a participant.

Caution: We will be working with hot wax.

The main goal of classes hosted by Yam Happy, is finding some happy through art and human connection. Sure, there will no doubt be some frustrations and bumps in the process of whatever you are creating. Please slow down, give yourself the space to learn something new, and explore the process. We don’t want anyone to get discouraged if the project doesn’t get “completed”, we’re just happy you’re here. While a project may be completed during the class, we HIGHLY encourage participants to be present. We prioritize happy memories and human connection over a finished project any day.
