Join us for our Diwali Party - Festival of Lights!
Diwali, or Dipawali, is India's biggest and most important holiday of the year and celebrated every year on the darkest, new moon night of the lunar month known as Kartika (mid-October mid-November). The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes. While there are several different narratives associated with Diwali, it mainly signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.
