Divine Schism: Retail Simps + eliots graveyard + Zarbi

Stoked to be hosting Canadian garage punks Retail Simps on their first UK run of shows in October - they hit the Library on Sun 25th Oct with eliots graveyard and Zarbi!
They release under different names - Theee/Thine/Tha/The Educated Fools, the same super prolific garagey proto punkers melding Modern Lovers, Television, Pere Ubu, Dr Feelgood etc to make records that drag you into the room with em for a good ol boogie. Their recent LP (As The Educated Fools, hilariously slated by Maximum RnR) is a perfect example of this and they release their next LP on Total Punk records next month and are out to support the release of ‘Real Simple’ - a slow jam jangle delight!
We’ve been trying to bring eliots graveyard to town for about 7 years I think and at last we’re here - the lo-fi, scuzzy bedroom project of Welsh socialist & queer freak twee pop musician Eliot MH, can’t wait!
The haunted lo-fi alt-blues tunes of Zarbi open up, with their first Divine Schism show - sorry for the wait!
Jump on it Oxford - earlyish show from 6pm on Sun 25th Oct in the Library basement! #divineschism #oxford #oxfordmusic #oxfordmusicscene
