This contemporary exhibit explores Marin's deep connection with the environment, drawing inspiration from his life at latitude 0 in Ecuador. It reflects on the concept of "propagating" resilience in the face of migration and displacement, highlighting the interconnectedness of humanity and nature. The exhibit emphasizes the necessity of collective action to address global challenges and immigration.Marin will also present a live art demonstration and engage in a community conversation, offering insights into his creative process.This program is part of our series "Splitting and Sharing: Sowing the Seeds of Cultural Resilience," held at the Firehouse Gallery Performance Art Space in Downtown Bayshore.This program is made possible by the Suffolk County Office of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council for the Arts.
