Kentucky Shakespeare and our Divine 9 team members invite you to our third annual "Divine 9 at the Park" at Kentucky Shakespeare Festival in Central Park Friday, July 26 - welcoming the National Pan-Hellenic Council and member organizations of Louisville!Schedule
6:00PM: Food trucks open from the Louisville Food Truck Association (Annie Up Pizza, Chop It Like It’s Hot, Six Forks Burgers, Mr. C’s Cheesecakes)
7:00PM: Free interactive Kids’ Globe tent will open with fun activities, along with Will’s Gift Shop and Will’s Tavern bar
7:00PM: For a special backstage tour experience, meet at the C. Douglas Ramey statue/memorial at the back right side of the amphitheater.
7:15PM: Community pre-show performances begin, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
8:00PM: Free performance of ROMEO & JULIET. The beloved, timeless tale of star-crossed lovers caught between two worlds is set in the Regency Era, inspired by the style of Bridgerton. Romance leads to loss, then grace, in this beautiful and tragic love story. The production stars Brittany “BeeBee” Patillo, a member of the Louisville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., as Juliet.)
Upon arrival, Divine 9 members please check in at the registration table next to Will’s Gift Shop under the pergola. Your check-in serves as an entrance for a special door prize for the organization with the highest attendance. (Door prizes will include theatre/arts packages and outreach educational performances and workshop at school of winner’s choice.)
All D9 attendees will receive a special, free, welcome souvenir upon check-in and will be recognized at intermission.
