What: Divest from War/Invest in Climate Justice When: Saturday 21st September, 2024

Mothers* Rebellion next (6th) global action will take place on Saturday 21st September, coinciding with the UN Summit of the Future in New York, and the first ever "Global Week of Action for Peace and Climate Justice".
This time, Mothers* and allies across the globe will be focused on the links between war, militarism, and climate injustice and the urgent need to divest from war and invest in just climate solutions.
In Rochester, we will peacefully gather in a circle outside L3 Harris, one of the largest defense contractors in the US whose arms revenue in 2022 was $12.63 billion, to stress the crucial need to actively stop working for the war economy and purposely invest in a future centered in peace, justice, and aliveness.
This is a family friendly, peaceful and healing action open to mothers, grandmothers, carers who come in good will. Children and grandchildren are most welcome to attend.
Bring your own sign with your personal message or come a bit early and make one there, cardboard and text as supplied.
