What is JAR WARS?
JAR WARS is more than a Battle of the Bands—it's a Reality Series created to showcase Arizona's music scene. Every participating band receives professional exposure through live performances, interviews, and streaming content while competing for a growing cash prize.
Our goal is simple:
Help great bands get seen, grow their audience, and tell their story.
Who Can Enter?
Bands must be based in Arizona and perform primarily:
• Rock
• Metal
• Punk
• Alternative
Original music is strongly encouraged.
What Makes This Different?
Unlike most Battle of the Bands competitions...
Every band gets featured.
Even if you don't advance, you'll still receive:
• A featured live performance
• An on-camera interview
• Exposure on the Reality Series
• Professional video content
• Promotion across our social media platforms
• A chance to reach new fans
This is designed to help every band grow—not just the winner.
How Does the Competition Work?
Round One
• 32 bands are selected.
• Four bands perform each night.
• Eight preliminary battles.
Each battle becomes an episode of the Reality Series.
Semi Finals
The winning bands advance to the Semi Finals.
These episodes feature additional performances, interviews, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
Grand Finals
The remaining bands compete for:
🏆 The Championship
💰 The Cash-Filled Jar
🎬 Recognition as the first JAR WARS Champion
What's the Jar?
Throughout the competition, fans help fill a 5-gallon water jug ("The Jar") with cash donations.
The more fans participate...
The bigger the prize grows.
At the end of the season...
The winning band takes home everything inside the Jar.
The Fans Fill the Jar. The Best Band Wins It All.
What Do We Need to Submit?

• Band Name
• Band Bio
• Recent Band Photo
• A video of a live performance
• One studio recording
(Home studio recordings are perfectly acceptable.)
Where Will This Be Seen?
Your band may appear on:
• The JAR WARS Reality Series
• Arizona Entertainment Network (Roku)
• YouTube
• Facebook
• Instagram
• Promotional advertising
• Future marketing for the series
