About this Event
0n June 3rd (the day before the DiVal Safety Summit), The DiVal Training Team in collaboration with the Incident Prevention Institute will be hosting a day of Certified Workshops on a wide range of topics. Each of these workshops will each earn you Certification or CUSP points.

NFPA 70E Electrical Safety & Arc Flash Certified Training
Description:
This course is designed to train individuals about the hazards associated with electricity, safety-related work practices and safety-related maintenance requirements as dictated by NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910. The course involves teaching the participants to recognize what the electrical hazards are, why risk assessments are required, selecting appropriate PPE, how to establish an electrically safe work condition and training for qualified employees

Human & Organizational Leadership Symposium
Description:
People make mistakes. If we accept that, we can build programs designed to protect people and systems by reducing errors and managing controls. Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) allows us to anticipate error likely situations and utilize tools that give us time to make rational, emotionally intelligent, outcome oriented decisions; focus our attention; and allow us to maintain positive control of our work. By increasing our understanding of HOP, we can lead people how they are and not the way we wish they were.

Transformational Leadership: Creating Safe, High Performance Work Teams
Description:
This is a highly interactive program designed to identify and eliminate potential blind spots to those behaviors which could be sabotaging performance, and creating dysfunctional cultures impacting safety, quality, productivity and customer relations. The speaker utilizes relatable videos and personal stories to drive home key elements, which will positively impact attendees and performance.

Fall Protection Competent Inspector
Description:
This comprehensive inspection course enables those responsible for the inspection of fall protection equipment to make educated decisions on the suitability for use.The training will also include standards and regulations, incorporating what they require and how they relate to the inspection process. Upon completion, the student will receive a certificate acknowledging they have met or exceeded the requirements of the OSHA and ANSI standards.

Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Train the Trainer class
Description:
Do you have operators of Powered Industrial Trucks? PIT’s include forklifts, order pickers, powered pallet jacks, stand-up and narrow aisle lift trucks. If you struggle to keep your employee operator training up to date, your answer may be to have your own PIT Instructors. Attend this class to get qualified candidates the training they need to be a PIT Instructor for your company. All persons registering for class must provide current PIT operator certification

FIRST AID / CPR / AED Training
Description:
Prepare for the unexpected and to act when emergencies arise. Attend this First Aid/CPR/AED training course and receive NSC 2-yr certification. This training satisfies OSHA regulatory requirements. From personalized learning to interactive scenarios to peer-to-peer learning and hands-on skill practice, you will be prepared to provide care when it's needed most.
