The Denver Art Museum is rolling out the red carpet for DIVA opening day!
Join us on Sunday, October 4, from 10am to 5pm to celebrate the opening of a one-of-a-kind exhibition in style. Enjoy a day of fun hosted by the queen, Miss Jessica, including a red carpet, special decor, photo opportunities in a giant magazine box, and music from the legends featured in the exhibition.
DIVA celebrates the radical power, creativity, and cultural impact of nearly 100 iconic performers, from 19th- and 20th-century divas like Josephine Baker, Sarah Bernhardt, and Maria Callas to modern-day powerhouses like Cher, Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton, Prince, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and more.
Prepare for a jaw-dropping journey featuring approximately 250 objects, including 60 show-stopping costumes worn by the legends, as well as personal artifacts and memorabilia. The exhibition explores how these stars use fashion and performance not only to entertain but also to demand visibility and ignite social change.
