Dr Stephanie Chaousis has worked at the intersection of public health, technology, research, and innovation at the frontline of AI education and adoption for health. The founder and principal consultant of HealthNex Consulting, she draws upon her broad experience to support SME's to accelerate their business.
Currently on the board of the Queensland AI Hub she has worked with government Previously operating as General Manager in AI for Healthcare not-for-profit intelliHQ she created and delivered targeted training and education for executives and organisational leaders.
Having completed her PhD in molecular sciences and working within medical research and healthcare innovation spaces, Stephanie has a multifaceted understanding of the AI and digital health ecosystem and the practicalities, benefits, and risks of AI research, development, and implementation.
Through her work, she supports the translation of research and technologies that harness clinical data into practical healthcare solutions. Stephanie applies her broad experience across research, business development, and partnership management to drive technology transfer within health.
Stephanie has experience in supporting AI adoption for a wide variety of use cases as a mentor for over 30 health tech startups in her work with Gold Coast HealthTech accelerator Lumina X and the Queensland AI Hub Launch AI accelerator.
