**District Pulse 2.0, powered by Altra and in partnership with Pacers Running, is the crew-wide Marine Corps Marathon weekend link — a homecoming for the people shaping the past, present, and future of running in the DMV.**
**2026 Theme: Creating History in Real Time**
We’re kicking off the evening by getting you race-ready, with recovery services from **Athletic Recovery Lab** and energy curated by **Bingthedj**.
Hosted by **Alexandria Brooks**, the evening centers on three conversations spotlighting the people, ideas, and collaborations shaping DC’s running culture.
**01 — It’s Only Crazy Until Someone Does It**
Big dreams have a way of making the impossible feel possible. A conversation with runners and leaders chasing ambitious goals, redefining what’s within reach, and inspiring others to dream a little bigger, too.

**02 — Running in DC Is Unmatched**
We’ve always known it. Now, we’re telling the world. A conversation about the people, stories, and communities that make DC running special — and the work being done to amplify the scene and create pathways for the next generation.

**03 — Can I Get KITTD?**
A pop-up, a partnership, and a whole lot of vision. We’re pulling back the curtain on KITTD, the collaboration between District Running Collective, Pacers Running, and Altra, to explore what it takes to turn a community-driven idea into something real.

Throughout the evening enjoy food, "Legends of the District" live art activation by Nicole Bourgea and Brittany Greene, sweet treats from Frio Frio, and community grant awards celebrating the people moving DC forward.

Race eve, October 24, help us chalk a mile of the course and bring the Party Mile to life. Leave your mark on the streets and be part of the energy carrying runners forward.
