Join us for an evening of musical exploration based on the rich tradition of Hindustani classical music by three sonic change makers—the soulfully creative Snehesh Nag on sitar, mellifluous sensation Yadnesh Raikar on violin, and the creatively dynamic Anirudh Alva Changkakoti on tabla. These virtuosic performers enter collaboration steeped in the Indian tradition punctuated by contemporary sounds, guided by improvisation, rhythm, melody, and sonic surprises.

Snehesh Nag is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator who primarily plays the sitar, exploring Hindustani classical music, and produces music incorporating other genres such as western classical and electronic music. He has performed extensively in India, the US, and Canada garnering wide acclaim, and is the recipient of multiple accolades such as the National Scholarship, Government of India and the Acharya Allauddin Khan Memorial Award.

As a sitarist, he has trained with his father Pandit Sugato Nag and legend of sarod Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta, and plays a unique blend of two gharanas (school of music), namely the Senia Shahjahanpore and Enayatkhani gharana. As a composer and improvisor, he collaborates with a variety of musicians where he enjoys discovering and improvising based on the common musical language shared between them. Known for his versatility, Snehesh’s collaborations range from playing with Indian classical tabla legends such as Pandit Anindo Chatterjee to The Princeton Symphony, Grammy-winning and nominated musicians such as singer-songwriter Cathy Fink, Hip-hop artist Christylez Bacon, and violinist William Harvey. Snehesh holds a master's degree in music technology and is a music producer and sound designer. He is currently an artist-in-residence at Strathmore, class of 2024.

As an educator, Snehesh has been teaching privately for many years and frequently conducts workshops at local venues. He has worked with Baltimore Symphony’s OrchKids program and the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches both expansive Indian classical repertoire, as well as tools to converse with other musical traditions.

Young Violin Maestro Yadnesh Raikar proclaimed as "young classical superstar" by Radio & Music, Yadnesh is a young fame in the field of Indian Classical Music. Yadnesh studied Violin at the age of 2 and started performing at the age of 4 years. He is the Son and Disciple of renowned Violinist Swar Pradnya Pandit Milind Raikar. He is also lucky to have had guidance from none other than Gana Saraswati Kishori Amonkar. He has learned Vocal from Anand Pednekar and Pt. Vasantrao Kadnekar. He is currently learning from his Father Pandit Milind Raikar, Pandit Arun Kashalkar and Violin Legend Vidwan Dr. L. Subramaniam.

Along with being a Young Maestro in his art form, Hindustani Violin, he also has a Masters in Carnatic Music. He gave his first solo recital at the age of 4 in front of 600 music connoisseurs. Yadnesh's large appearance was seen in the most prestigious Music Festivals - Hridayesh Arts Festival, Rajab Ali Khan Mahotsav - Indore, Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki Festival, Goa, World Seattle Music Festival (Rhythm Festival) in Seattle 2018, Sangeet Shankar Darbar Festival - Nanded, Pu. La Deshpande Music Festival, SwarMangesh Festival - Goa. He also holds the honor of presenting his recitals at Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival, Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav, Pune - 2018, Pandit Kumar Gandharva Birth Centenary Celebration 2023, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Birth Centenary Celebration 2022 and Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh 2023, Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, to name a few.

Yadnesh has performed in NCPA, Nehru Centre, Indradhanu Festival - Thane, Juhu Hamara Festival, IITs, IIM, BITS Pilani, NIT, and many more.

Has also given his performances in Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chennai, Uttarakhand, Gujrat, Rajasthan, and many more. He has also performed abroad in UAE and twice in USA in his 'Legacy' tour with his Father.

Anirudh Alva Changkakoti, the son of Dr. Rupak Changkakoti and Sarojini Alva Changkakoti, is a young promising tabla player from Virginia. Anirudh’s love for tabla was very evident, even as a new born baby when his father was learning from Dr. Narendra Verma, disciple of the illustrious Ustad Allah Rakha of the Punjab Gharana.
Dr. Verma started teaching Anirudh at the tender age of 3 years. Since his young age, Anirudh has won many awards of excellence in both state and national level contests in the US. Anirudh has performed across the US, Canada, Mexico and India and in prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center. He has recorded with multiple Grammy nominated artists and even Grammy winners. He has also appeared on national television channels in India. Through his Guru’s referral, Anirudh has been training under the maestro, Ustad Zakir Hussain since the past 10 years.
