District Informational Session: Classroom Safety and Addressing Escalating Behaviors

We have had a number of questions from parents in our elementary buildings regarding classroom moves and holds for emotional/medical responses and escalating behaviors that have generated concerns. Given the similar questions we have heard, and to protect student information, we will host two informational sessions to address concerns, share our internal procedures and safety measures, explain our Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) and Trauma-Informed training and process, and explain what classroom placement changes mean for students in special education in general.

Monday, November 16, 2026
Oakland, Keller, Northwood
We invite all parents to join us on their designated school evening. If you are unable to attend on your scheduled day, you are welcome to attend the other session.
