All District 2 YFA members are invited to participate in the YFA Discussion Meet. This includes members from Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Green, Rock and Sauk counties.The top 3 qualifiers from this contest will move on to the state contest held in conjunction with the WFBF YFA Conference, December 6-8, 2024 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
Event details include:
3:30pm - Farmer and Agriculturist Unlimited (FAU) Discussion Meet
4:30pm - YFA Discussion Meet
5:30pm - Policy Development Meeting & Dinner
Social to follow.
The question to be discussed is: "Young farmers and ranchers are finding they need to diversify their farm portfolio. What are some ways that young farmers and ranchers can utilize diversification to explore new revenue sources? How can Farm Bureau support YF&R members as they strengthen their farm and ranch businesses?"
