Designed for anyone in recovery from trauma, this workshop offers a safe, supportive environment where participants can explore tools for managing anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm.
What to Expect:
- Grounding practices: learn simple, effective techniques that can help you feel more connected to your body and the present moment, promoting a sense of calm and safety.
- Distress Tolerance Skills: We will introduce practical yoga and mindfulness strategies to manage and reduce emotional intensity, allowing you to respond rather than react during moments of distress.
-Gentle Movement & Breathwork: Accessible yoga postures and guided breathing exercises will help release tension, regulate the nervous system and foster self-compassion.
- Mindful Meditation: Experience meditation practices designed to bring awareness to your thoughts and emotions without judgement, cultivating emotional balance.
By the end of this workshop, you will leave with practical tools to integrate into your daily life, helping you stay grounded during difficult times.
$35 per person
Adrienne is a Registered Nurse, spending 10 years of her career working in hospice, helping patients and their families through grief and emotional processing. She is a Trauma-Informed Registered Yoga Teacher and has also learned and applied these tools throughout intensive therapy to process personal trauma. You are not alone, and will feel safe, supported, and cared for during this session.
