DISSOLVE SKILL CLASS
Introduction to Contact Improvisation
(2-hour workshop)
A welcoming workshop for anyone curious about Contact Improvisation — a partner dance form rooted in touch, shared weight, listening, and spontaneous movement.
Together we will explore:
✧ somatic warm-ups inspired by Body-Mind Centering®
✧ communication through consensual touch
✧ exchanging weight safely
✧ rolling, sliding & transferring momentum
✧ movement pathways and points of contact
✧ foundations of a CI jam space
You’ll leave with both practical tools and an embodied understanding of Contact Improvisation.
No dance experience needed — come exactly as you are.
Recommended clothing:
Comfortable long sleeves & pants for ease of movement.

✨ DISSOLVE
INTUITIVE CONTACT FLOW
After the class, we open the space into a facilitated movement jam.
Since 2015, Dissolve has been a conscious movement container in Bali inspired by contact improvisation, intuitive movement, and authentic relating.
This is an invitation to:
✧ move freely
✧ connect deeply
✧ honor your boundaries
✧ explore playfulness & presence
Guided somatic exercises will support authentic connection with yourself and others in a grounded and nourishing way.
