Dissecting Owl Pellets

Learn what pellets are, what they tell us about the diets of birds and how they can be used to survey small mammal species.

Delegates will also take part in some bone identification and (if available) use microscopes to analyse findings from the dissected pellets.

Delegates will have the opportunity to stick the bones to black card as a reference.
