The AAHS Performing Arts Club will present Disney's The Little Mermaid on April 3-5, 2025 at 7pm in the AAHS Auditorium. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. The show follows Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, as she dreams of pursuing the human Prince Eric in the world above, and bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.
Our voyage under the sea features over 50 students onstage joined by some special teacher cameos, an all-star student pit orchestra and just as many students involved backstage designing and making all of our sets, props, puppets, and costumes! You'll flip your fins as our students soar above the AAHS stage for the first time, "swimming" their way to the world above!
