Disney Lorcana: Pack Rush Tiered Tournament

Rush, don’t walk down to our Pack Rush Tournament! This Disney Lorcana event will combine the Pack Rush and standard Sealed rules for a fun progressive tournament!

Over the course of three rounds, players will be matched up to compete in best-of-three style games that move from Pack Rush style in the first round to a more traditional sealed style in the last, in the following format:

Round 1 – Pack Rush: Players will receive 2 packs of Disney Lorcana: Archazia’s Island. They will open the packs without looking at the cards and set the marketing/promo cards aside as their starting ink (2 for this round). They will then shuffle the remaining 24 cards together without looking and decide who is the starting player. The first to 15 Lore wins. If you run out of cards in your deck, you will reshuffle your discard pile into a new draw pile.

Round 2 – Advanced Pack Rush: Players will receive 2 additional packs of Disney Lorcana: Archazia’s Island. They will open the packs without looking at the cards and set one of the marketing/promo cards aside as their starting ink (3 for this round). They will then shuffle the remaining 24 cards together without looking and decide who is the starting player. The first to 17 Lore wins. If you run out of cards in your deck, you will reshuffle your discard pile into a new draw pile.

Round 3 – Sealed: Players will receive two additional booster pack of Disney Lorcana: Archazia’s Island, which they can view and add to their existing cards to build a standard 60 card deck (with no Ink or duplicate card limits). They will then be paired off with another player to play a standard best-of-three first to 20 Lore game, as in a standard sealed event.

This event will be run on Melee and as such the first-round match ups will be decided randomly with subsequent matchings based on current results.

Cost to participate in this event is $41.93 (+tax) and includes the 6 packs of cards needed for the event and an entry fee.

Prizes for the top three finishers will be given out in the form of booster packs, based on event attendance.
