*** The DISKO INTERNATIONAL - a safe place for dancing to good music from all over the world. For Everyone. All Night Long. Funk | Tropical | Rare Groove | Afro | Reggae | Dub | Disco | Boogie | Soul from East, West, North, South, and all the places and spaces in between. ***Sisters, Brothers, Rude Gyals, Bad Bwoys, Kings, Queens, and inbetweens. DISKO INTERNATIONAL is back in the dance for late September sessions. 27.09 sees us converge to PANKE: our fav Nord Berlin spot with the sweet sound, for more of that good good soulful dancing music from all over the world.
In keeping with our ethos of booking local dopeness, we’re excited about our next guest, someone who can definitely extend the summer sunshine through the speakers, and doesn’t usually play much up north… aaronovsky!
aaronovsky is an experienced vinyl selector based in Tempelhof, Berlin. Through his job at record paradise @hardwax_official and by hosting a monthly feature at @thfradio named @roots.world.wide, he keeps on exploring new musical horizons and positions himself in the centre of Berlin's nightlife.
A member of the internationally respected Soundsystem @rootsdaughters, aaronovsky knows how to handle big stacks of speakers and proved that by completing two djing tours through the UK in '24 and Italy in '25.
When performing, aaronovksy showcases a colourful selection of genres, ranging from Dancehall to RnB, Soca to Old School Hip Hop, and many more, crucially paired with the use of his dub siren! 🚨
