Tampere's discussion clubs have been organising collaborative community education across the lines of parties and ideologies for the last three years. We are united by a desire to make a kind, fair and sustainable world, bring people together, learn and grow as activists and members of society. The club network is not a business or formal organisation but simply a collection of people who care about keeping them going. Have you enjoyed (our club's) discussions? Do you want to help shape the direction of coming seasons or reach new audiences? Welcome to our network meeting and intro night on Monday, 15th December at 19 in Artteli!
This is a chance to both meet and socialise with organisers of many different clubs, and gain an insight into how the clubs work and develop their activities. We'll have a coffee break together, introduce ourselves and then spend some time discussing how to improve participation, solve problems and cooperate better in the coming season.
At the end we'll go out for a casual get-together, where you can ask experienced club organisers questions and get to know them better.
No experience of any kind of organising or education work is necessary, and we welcome participants of all ages and backgrounds. The primary language of the meeting is English, but interpretation can potentially be arranged if needed.
We abide by safer space principles. Small bites and warm drinks are offered. Welcome!
