Join Puget Sound Estuarium at the Olympia Timberland Library for our Discovery Speaker Series. Every 1st Thursday of the month we invite you to learn and stay informed about current environmental research or sustainability projects. You'll hear from Scientists, Educators, Artists, and Earth Advocates about their current work, research, or organization. Plus get your questions answered live after the talk!
About the presentation:
In October, join the South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group (SPSSEG) to learn about some of their highlighted projects for 2026 year. Learn what SPSSEG is doing in the Nisqually River watershed, Deschutes River Watershed, and of course, Kennedy Creek!
About the speaker:
Jessica Linkemyer is the Education and Outreach Coordinator for South Puget Sound Salmon Enhancement Group. Jessica started at SPSSEG in October 2024. She is the head coordinator for all of their education programs and outreach events. During the summer, she helps the rest of the team with restoration projects.
