Young explorers (kindergarten-2nd grade) eager to follow their sense of wonder and creativity will enjoy fun hands-on experiments and themed activities.
Would you live in a forest or a swamp? Jump into your imaginations with this day full of worldwide nature exploration.
Learn about the types of homes animals need. Then, design and build animal homes in the classroom. Learn to identify animal tracks and spend time exploring the Stepping into the Prairie exhibit.
Registration includes a snack, supplies for activities, and access to exhibits.
Cost is $15 for FHDC members and $20 for non-members. Pre-registration is required by 5 p.m. on March 18. Register online, by phone at 785-587-2726, or in person at the Discovery Center.
