Calling all young garden apprentices! The garden needs your help this summer!
Join us for some hands-on fun in the Discovery Garden as we discover what it takes to keep a garden happy and healthy during the hot summer months.
Can you solve the mystery of a wilting plant? Discover where garden creatures hide from the summer sun? Or uncover the secrets of growing juicy summer tomatoes?
Roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty and explore the wonderful world of gardening through fun challenges, discoveries and activities for curious tamariki.
As Gardens Magic brings Wellington Botanic Garden ki Paekākā to life, our Akoranga | learning pavilion will be open for three Wednesdays in January.
Free, drop-in fun for tamariki and their whānau. Come for a little while or stay and explore!
Find us in the Discovery Garden, near the playground and Treehouse, at Wellington Botanic Garden ki Paekākā.
